I am still of the opinion that the fact that we are using the so called "Enhanced Interrogation Techniques" means we lost. We threw out the moral high ground, basic humanity, and the ability to ever judge without hypocrisy every other country in the world for human right violations for what? Isnt the soul (assuming we ever had one) of the Nation worth more than one token symbolic victory? Were not any more "secure" or "safe" today than we were on Saturday night.

I'm less concerned about the morality of actions as I'm a bit more of a "ends justify the means" kind of guy. It's been noted that it appears that "enhanced interrogation" techniques probably didn't lead to the killing, but of course that's not going to stop the Republicans claiming it did.
I just wish that we could have a rational conversation about a) whether it works and b) whether it's legal. I don't see that happening *anytime* soon though...

The article seemed to stress however that before the operation it seemed as if more was at stake than could be gained. the top chances that Bin Laden was in that compound were estimated around 80%. If we had busted in there to find nothing, it could have back fired pretty badly. And as much as most people hate Pakistan, they have Nukes and aren't really a country that you want to piss off enough that they decide they would be better off teaming up with the other side. It takes guts to roll the dice he did.
considering they turn a blind eye to our numerous drone attacks in country resulting in killing civilians, i highly doubt this would have turned into MAD

They are saying it's a 'specially outfitted' UH-60. Looking at the tail rotor pics between what you put up and the stock photos. Specially outfitted probably means re-skinned with stealth materials and low radar signature paneling
there is also a "dish" covering the non-conventional tail rotor, smoothed out panels and purported main rotor mods to slow them down and make them quieter.
