the Bionicon Demo Van will be set up at the JPL parking lot next Saturday, August 25 and 26, from 8:00 a.m. You can take out a Supershuttle, Golden Willow, or Edison and ride Brown Mtn/El Prieto or the Ken Burton trail and really get to know the bike on a trail with which you may already be familiar. No obligation, just come out and ride.
Bionicon is known for the first on-the-fly adjustable geometry and suspension. There's a video showing how the system works on Youtube at
But seeing the system on a video doesn't really do it justice. You have to feel how dramatic the change in geometry real feels under you, how plush the travel is, how efficiently they climb, and how well they descend.
For the demos, you'll need to leave a credit card and drivers license while on the bike. They'll have flats and spd's, but bringing your own pedals would be best (or just bring your bike and they'll swap the pedals for you, and watch your bike while you ride).
To get there, take the 210 Freeway, exit Arroyo/Windsor in Pasadena. Head north 3/4 mile to the comer of Windsor/Ventura, park in the lot on the left (west) side of street.
