Does anyone have any experience with the black box upgrade kit for the 2003 boxer. Does it really work?

No first hand experience... but I've heard it's definately worth it. Supposed to solve all the problems older boxxers have.

The metal base valve and larger damper port will make a big difference.

yes and it does help no leaking from the comp side. All that they sent me was what trancend said a red anodized aluminum base valve and I just drilled the hole my self. I have the high speed comp valve 5 turns from the top and my low speed all the way open. Running 5 weight in the reb side and 10 in the comp side. It seems to be working pretty good, but I've only been to 3 races.
