Are the mono veloce and DH chainring the same thing? I can get the MV for cheap, but I don't want to pick it up if it's junk.

doesn't fit in my chain dude. redesign the teeth profile and make it out of some solid alloy and i'll run it.

No no, woodstyles designed and waterjetted me a chainring. He spent a lot of time cutting out big penii on the side of it, but the teeth are huge and don't fit the chain I have. So, I've got to find something else to use by this weekend, which I would prefer to be black and mighty. I just don't know if the mono is up to DH use.

I have a MV chain ring on my HT, it looks pretty sturdy, with tall teeth, good for a single ring setup. I run a bash ring so I can't tell how it would hold up to impacts. I am a masher not a spinner so it gets a good deal of torque on it and doesn't have any wear issues.
