Anyone got experience with them?

6061 and machined. I'm concerned the 6061 might be a little soft for a chainring...

It's for my "xc" bike: 05' Enduro. I just put a 28t granny on, a new cassette, and I have a new chain too, so I figured I may as well throw a new "middle" chainring as well. My local shops carry a 32t Shimano (I've come to trust their shifting and durability), or I could get a 34t Blackspire. I've had SuperPro rings from Blackspire in the past, and they were ok... but I've never heard of Nuvi, and I think 6061 might be too soft.

Any insight would be appreciated...

If you think the Blackspire is too soft, and know they aren't going to shift as well as a Shimano ring (since pretty much nothing does), then why bother? :)

Yeah I know how ya feel. Thing is though, is it worth it? Getting stuck with a halfassed ring (not that the Blackspire is, just sayin) sucks, cause its a waste of money for sure.

What about Raceface rings? They work damn well too
