so we parked at Plumbers crack today for an awesome ride down the blackstone canal, trhough ribbon candy, the new trail on Goat hill and some ofthe trails on the "other" side of the tracks.
it was a great ride

It was Me , SloMoJo, Bob and Dana.

SOme how Dana managed to elude my camare but

Rode the hills and canal area several years ago with Evan S. It was one of those "worst" rain events in years. Coming off the high ground and into the canal area, we made a huge mistake. The Blackstone was in flood stage, but we went in anyway. At some point, it was obvious that we should turn around since you couldn't see any bare ground, but we kept on going. Now the water was up to our hubs and we went from high point to high point looking to get out of the flooding. At one point, Ev tried to get up onto a small piece I was claiming, but he fell back and went full emerse into the water. Finally made it out. I've raced for hours in monsoon condtioins, but a "fun" XC ride in flood stage conditions was nuts!
