I'm trying!! We took all these Pics with a digi cam, only to find we dont have the lead to link it to the Pc, so there all stuck on the bleedin camera. We've turned both houses upside down with no luck, now on the lookout for a working camera to use... I could take one with my webcam, but it looks poor, and no BMW deserves to look that poor in a picture..

And Doc's racelink, which is by far the best DH machine I have ever seen. Wish I could have ridden it somewhere. Look and those parts!: Avy fork, Sram, Magura, Mavic etc...

Hmm... Anybody know if it's possible to get hold of another pair of brooklyn 2.7" 24" tyres? This pair of tyres that came with the ducky are about to become slicks soon :) Prolly too much traction, hehe...

micee, i'm guessing you've got some prototypes because i'm 98.925% certain they've never put tires on the market. the ol' rumor mill has it there might be something in the future.

xy, did you take that photo?

i'm kinda embarrassed to ask this, but ... gulp....how are you noticing what material the axle would be made out of? isn't the axle the jammie that slides through the hub to keep your wheels on? and therefore hidden in the hub?? (i hear you all laughing and i don't care :eviltongu ) i heard rob did a max ti number on his bike, so i'm gonna bank on whatever you're talking about being ti, not alum, like espen said. (thought to self: gee, i wonder if he's talking about the shaft on the shock? nawwww)

i found the pic somewhere online. the end of the axle that you can see @ the dropout looks different than the typical steel nut on bolt that is used. that rounded knob thingy (either a bolt end or cap or nut...) looks like aluminum. i'm only mentioning this because i've been looking for a replacement axle & nut in something other than steel. ya, ya i'm a weight weenie. the ti profile spindle should be here next week...

yippee! I am healing up very well. probably going to do some easy paved bike path riding on the XC bike. I can do small things now like apply deodorant and go #2 without scribbling like i have been with my pencil.

I'll take some pics this weekend. bmw related, not bm.

i am working in it. i just learned who the person is that has the tape and I'll be contacting them to see if they can send it to me. that pic of me jumping that little hit next to the kid in the red shirt was taken just before I crashed into that group of folks. i was movin.

xy9ine, AR has the nobby nodule rear-axle jammie too. they're on all race links and it's been confirmed alum. good eye. (edit: yikes, hope no one caught the barrell of typo's in there. thankgod for the edit option.)

Live in NYC? i wouldn't think so... i'd rather live someplace where the snow don't fall in the winters. Someplace where ya actually see and smell the change of seasons!
