Booboo (my dag) doesn't deal with XC. He's strickly into Bender-style hucking, which is why he's huber burly like that... I wanna find a mini helmet for him for the (upcoming i promise!) photo shoots. He's really hardcore.

Not dissing your DC fork in the least, but those are the visions that pop into my head when I see your bike.

Well remember that the real TT on this frame is super short, especially for an average height~tall rider, so the virtual TT growing is good if you find the frame short to beging with. IU'm 5'5 so it's purrfect for me.
Thanks for the props on the paint. I painted this bike lime green in honor of my X- 2000 RM6DH frame, the one that started it all for me.

As for the double TC fork I have on now, my knees would totally miss being completely bruised 365 days a yr if I went back to single crown. That wouldn't be fair to them.
The 01 super T I have on now is actually a 150mm travel fork, just like the Z150. The superT doesn't even actually get all its travel, more like 140~145 mms i think. As for X-ups I don't bother I like my noodles straight :D
I do have a polished 4" 99 Z3QR20 with the yummy drilled swiss cheese arch that would be total pimpness on that frame though...
But then I would have to get my read end chromed and I think chromegoodness has that copyrighted :p ;)

now if you ride a HT SS rigid bike for street, great. I my self ride a ht ss with a 4 inch shiver sc. why? it's easier to handle and manuveur.
now hang on with me a moment here, has it ever occur to you that the rider has to be stronger and better to ride the same stuff on a 6-inch travel 43 lbs bike?
it's the guy's personal bike. he probably rides it like nobody's business. heck, i used ride my old M1 for street and it was fun. besides, trials is boring ans the bikes simply look ridiculous. and i really don't like nutting my crown jewels, i don't know about other peeps.
anyway, i think a mid travel bike is just as good as urban as any hardtail. heck, why was the ruckus i-drive and 24 le dude made for?

No.

I've done urban on my 45-50 pound DH and 35-36 pound FR bikes and never been as tired/sore as after riding on my bmx. IMO the smaller and less forgiving the bike, the more skill the rider needs. That said, I'm a hack and love suspension. But my skills develop so much faster on bmx.

That bike just absolutely redefines insanity. I LOVE it. It was designed a good while back but still has a crazy WOW factor. How does the rubber ducky ride???????? What's the standover on that thing???? I think i'd need a ladder to straddle a rubber ducky :D

Have you been riding BMX for long? It's a hard comparison to make unless you spend equal amounts of time on both types of bike, as obviously BMX'ing uses different muscles to riding a dually... so of course you'll feel sore after riding a bmx if it's only occasionally.

I hear ya dud, here's my urban assault vehicle. I'm completely extreme yo, I dress up in full armor and cruise the mean streets of Worcester, 50 MPH down S. Main. Knuck

Yeah, I don't care if I have to wait a while. I'm still waiting on another frame from Iron Horse to build up. My wife is gonna be quite pleased when I mention the BMW (FRAME ONLY FOR $3500)

Hey, are shiver SC's still available? That's the fork I want on my BMW FQ

I've bought a lot of expensive things in my life, most of which I regret without doubt.

The 3500 I spent on my mini is IMO the best expensive purchase I've ever made. I really though I would regret spending so much $ on just a bike frame, but I went with my gut feeling and got it. Couldn't be happier!
