That looks like one of those those "bad material" "retarded"ly completed frames.osi said:Finally 6 month later my RL is here
Misunderstood? "I heard only of the fact that they have problems with the material and the completion of the frameworks retarded."osi said:I think i was misunderstood. I wanted to ask whether somebody else has to wait longer for his frame because there are problems with the material.
But now everthing is fine and i hope the stem and pedals will come soon.

Near the top tube is no stamp and i can't find one anywhere else but i'm searching
ya. you are like, SO transparent. permission IS manditory, tho. it was an unwritten rule @ our shop that when a new personal bike/frame arrived it was to remain unopened in the box for the respective owner - the right of opening was definately reserved.tmx said:doh! that obvious, huh?
can't post without his permish.
Damn, you FQ cats must be short, I'm 6'0 and on the maiden voyage today my knees were killin me. Not use to being so low. I can see why this thing is built for street, it's tough going on the trails. But with the 2.7 tires and the fact that I haven't ridden in a month doesn't help. However I jacked up the seatpost a bit and it was a lot better. Just will take some getting use to I guess.TankerX said:Hey knuckle, nice build and additions to the FQ. I was wondering are u running a 9spd cassette? And what teeth is the animal, did u change both rings on the FQ? On my FQ i'm running it single speed and it's 28 x 18 ratio and it pedals well.
Nice RL Joel!!
Well I'm 5'5 or so, and I run a taller fork on my FQ so my knee still get a lot of hurting. I also run a DTC fork. My knees always get "hickies" from the FQKnuckleslammer said:Damn, you FQ cats must be short, I'm 6'0 and on the maiden voyage today my knees were killin me. Not use to being so low. No, I had my daughter last weekend. I'm glad I diddn't go, I'd be pushing the thing the whole way. It's not an easy bike to ride. I did an 8 mile urban assault on it last night. My knees are killin me. It's sort of a double edged sword. If I raise the seat tube on it ridiculously high, I can ride it, but it looks kinda whacky like that. I'll try a longer stem. If that doesn't help, check ebaynarlus said:did you ride @ lincoln last weekend?

Yes I would definitely recommend, like Marcus had mentioned, a fork with quite a stiffer setting than average for the mini. A softer fork just makes it very odd to ride with a avanalche rear shock in general, on the mini it's even multiplied... I tried my 4" Z3qr20 fork on the mini, and the geometry felt great, but it felt like my bike was riding on jello in the front... My superT on the other hand is quite stiff on medium to smaller bumps and balances the suspension feel a lot better...Knuckleslammer said:The shiver SC, despite having heavy springs in it bobs like a bad habit, that is if Marzocchi even changed the springs in them when I had it serviced.
Shortbus said:avalanche rear shocks are stiff by nature (god knows it took ME time to accept and live with that fact )
its not noodley...Shortbus said:Yes you pretty much nailed it "stiff" to me = !(noodley)
