Family Guy seasons are on DVD. You can watch it on your computer! No need for a TV :D
EXCELLENT! thanks. close call.

edit: "DUUUUUUUDE, you don't have a TV!??? How do you live!?"
haha, i ask tv watchers how they have time to live.
confession: my non-tv household is more because of a lack of self-control and not for the greater good of my brain power.

Meg: Mom, can I be in your play?

Stewie: Yes, you can be the dumpy teenager that cries backstage because none of the boys find her attractive. Hah-hah!

----

Stewie: How positively delightful. Its as if someone stabbed Mr. Bubble!

AND of COURSE, the priceless scene where Stewie wakes up and pulls a curly hair out of his mouth, then realizes he had been breastfeeding from his father Peter. That's my all time fav.

Has anyone done up a chromed out FQ yet? I think that is a dyno finish on any bike, especially a brooklyn. I am looking forward to ordering up an FQ frame by the end of this summer and I am already spending nights thinking of devious paint jobs...

As an aside, I gotta get into contact with rockymt and get my hands on that BMX...

Yo, I'd love to do some sick paint job on my FQ but besides chrome, what's more bling than BLACK. I don't know, I'd have to see some fine examples to make me want to bead blast the black off this biatch. I just love black. Any ideas folks? Links to some fat paint jobs?

Knucks... I agree the black is mean. I have a blacked out hardtail currently and I am looking for something different with my new ride. You been logging much time on that beauty these days?

I too am a fan of the industrial "raw" look of steel... The burns from the welds look great.

Here's a quick photoshop thing I've just knocked up. What do you reckon?
where's the girl next to the tmx?

you might be able to accomplish the same thing with a cling? (outdoor grade graphic that is used on vehicles and public transportation signage)

the cat print has been done quite alot with Kona. i'd hate for someone to mistake your bike for a new Kona!

good photoshop work though

Just yer basic camo's there, but they do look good. I've toyed with the idea of urban camo for my frame in the past.

Wow. I didn't notice that before. Really cool. I never thought of re-painting my TMX before, but now I just don't know...

Is it just me or do brooklyn's just scream for a "one solid color" (maybe a matching/contrasting decal kit) finish. I like the imaginative and intricate paintjobs, powercoats and decals but they look best on things like klein road bikes. Something about the calculated, industrial build of brooklyns makes me feel like anything more than one color is overkill. I liken it to serious performance cars... You never see a performance auto with a "hot rod" paint job. They just don't need it.

I think the parkbike is a different story though... Ged's park has a sweet job on it and the simplicity of the bike really complements the chaos of the paintjob.

Enough rambling... Thanks for reading what I have to say about bikes I don't have.

Shortfunny. (except the girls in leopard print comment.)

As much as I respect a fine intricate paint job (like Jay's macked out green and gold custom painted race link), I agree with LeRoy. However, that Thermoflage sounds rather intriguing.

D, I'm just warning you....It quickly turns into a whirlwind of anxiety and panic. With near-limitless color choices and endless possibilities in combinations, one can easily lose all rational thought in the decision-making process. You'll lay awake for hours on end in the middle of the night wondering what color you'd like your bike to be next. You'll forget to feed the kids and kiss the wife. Lose clients because you'll threatened them with a higher voltage on that little shock patch thingy, until they tell you what color you should paint your bike. The millions of options become one enormous albatross because you must make a final decision. You can't turn back because you've already taken the bike apart. So you throw caution to the wind and make your final choice, drop the bike off at Brooklyn......

AND WAIT.

and wait.

and wait.

And wonder if you've made the right color choice.

Wait more.

Wonder more.

Waiting and wondering.

And even if it's a fluke chance that your bike came in at the perfect time and you have it back in a miracle week or two, it still seems like forever. And you still torture yourself wondering during the wait.

Of course once you get the call that the beast is ready for pick up you drop everything to fetch it. It's beautiful. The most beautiful thing you've ever seen. You carefully wrap it up, take it home....set it out for the rebuild....and....you stop with a halt! Put your old worn parts on your fabulous freshly painted frame? That is when the component quandary begins and the kids are back to making themselves CheezWhiz and crackers for dinner.

to confuse everyone even more, I've also thought of a candy cane color scheme. Huge red n white swirls. Kinda like the cat in the hat's hat.
Will you be wearing a red suit laughing "ho ho ho" as you bunny hop the Porsche?

I go to every auto, boat and moto race I can. :) I make my living in motor sports. fun fun
If you guys need hooked up with a sick painter I know a few. One is one of the best in the motorsports industry and the other is more of a new commer who is cranking out killer work. The new guy is much more cost effictive too.

Ooooohhhh....you.....lucky.....

Thinking about coming out for the San Diego SX, maybe we can meet up if you plan on that one too. For a couple years I stayed in SoCal for the whole month of January to catch those three Anaheim's and the San Diego races. Went broke doing it, but there didn't seem to be an option at the time. I was a complete moto junkie. Still am, but that money and time is relegated to DH now.

So...will you be working at the race, or spectating? Do you go to all the SX/MX races around the country? The world? Which is your fave, boating, moto or auto? Do you race?

The advantage of my job is having all the spray gear and paints at work. I regularly respray my bikes when I'm bored with a colour scheme and I've some spare time during the day.
My TMX has been battleship grey for a couple of years now, and it's itching for a revamp.
