So I have this bottom bracket, and just got a set of profile arms & a deity chainring. The non drive profile arm slid onto the spindle just fine (for the most part), but I can't get the drive side arm on more than 1/2". It just gets to a point where I feel like I'm going to strip the bolt, and I don't want to tighten past that. Is this normal for BMX cranks? I've greased the arms/spindle interface plenty, and still no dice. Do I need a new spindle? Any advice? thanks, -Chris

Try flipping the spindle to see if both arms react the same way to the oposite section of spindle. If they do, I say your spindle is a no go.

Sounds like the perfect excuse to buy the Ti spindle.

Also inspect the splines on the inside of the problem side crank arm...
