If I was to be running a 32 or 34 tooth front ring what size rear sprocket would you recommend on a 20 inch wheel BMX for general street/dirt jump riding?

33/12 gives you a 2.75:1 gear ratio. That's the standard ratio, equivalent to a 44/16. If you're doing more tech tricks, go with a smaller front ring. More fast gaps, wallrides, dirtjumps, go 33.

Thanks for the replies. I have an odd crank set and it came with both 32 and 34 rings. I will give the 12 a go and see how it goes.
