Hello!
I recently got into BMX Racing and definitely have the wrong tires. Not only are they too narrow but also have the wrong kind of tread. I've studied around the web to figure out what I should be racing on but there are conflicting views.
I have only tired the Micro-Knobbys so far. I want to hear what you have tried. What do you prefer and why?

A lot of people like microknobbies. It's totally personal preference. Fatter tires are good for absorbing impacts and bumps but narrower tires are actually faster--just like on road bikes. It depends on the track how much tread you need.

my track tires (1.75 rear; 1.9 front) are much more narrow than my everyday tires (2.1 rear; 2.3 front)...
