I'm in a bike wanking mood today. Might as well whip it out...

The King website claims there's such thing as a bolt-on front (non-disc, non-20mm) hub. Has anyone ever seen one?

Or should I just stick with bolt-on skewers ?

(I'm thinking front-wheel security here, not any sort of performance anything..)

Whew. Glad I got that out of my system...

King used to make (and may still, I dunno) a bolt-on adapter for their front Universal Disc hubs - maybe ISO's as well? It should probably fit in a Classic hub.

I have an older catalog from them (late '90s) that has a pic of it in action.

They also do bolt-on BMX hubs, it might be possible to put the axle from a BMX front hub into a mtb hub, since they're the same size apparently (spacing is same, both use a 19.5mm axle).

(from the web site ) them BMX hubs look kinda goony. Are those mil-spec cap screws? At least the funbolts look like a proper product.

Hm. I'll drop CKG a line and see what they say...
