I got new decals from the Trek/Klien/Bontrager/Gary Fisher conglomerate (sp?). Had it powderdcoated locally. I was going for the '94 team issue look, thanks for noticing!!
I know, I need some sort acceptable chain tensioner. Working on it.
Actually the derailluer works fine, just not 'cool'. Changing it out is on my list of things to do, but it's way down on the list. I just want to ride it and have some SS fun!!
What's with that chair? Looks like a mattress for a cat! If you're gonna suffer with no gears, get a super light ass hatchet. SLR or Aspide are super light. You'll be standing so much on hills you don't need a comfy chair.
Classic paint job though. You.ve done the bike justice. Keith would be proud.
(The ONLY thing I think could be cooler is getting one of the new eccentric-axle hubs to eliminate the derailleur/tensioner and get a true, clean SS setup!)
