@dump Did you get some runs in on your new setup?
I can’t believe it, but I did not. By the time my boots got sorted, it warmed up for a week, then froze again, then warmed and rained. Have had too much going on and couldn’t swing it… and the conditions weren’t really drawing me in. Just packed everything up and will look forward to next season… with my little one joining me too. He’s keen after seeing the olympics.

Ok, kids, this was fun. Just for shits and giggles, I googled my own name just to see what came up. The only thing that was remotely interesting was this picture on eBay. It is me in 1987, in Thornden Park, snowboarding the sledding hill. It was for the Syracuse Paper, and they took down my name.

I made a new board with lotsa carbon. Last time I did that it was unrideable. This one seems ok but the nose is a little soft.

163mm long
27mm wide
8mm of taper
Normal camber with a tiny bit of nose rocker.

Also that gas powered tow in cable setup makes the elastic slingshots skaters use to get speed for tricks on features with short run ups seem totally safe.

You've seen those wEnches before right? That was the impetus for wakeboard cable parks. Maybe it's a florida thing but people used to use them to ride everything from golf course fountains to retention ponds. Aaron chased used them for some quarter pipe shots in a new world disorder movie years ago.

I sent that to my buddy who is the national sales manager for Never Summer, he hadn’t seen it yet. They are howling over there, they think it’s hilarious.
they should create a wench job title
