I'm looking to long on Sunday, but I'm new to the area and am not up for hitting the trails alone. Drop me a line if you are heading out. Otherwise, I'll prob head to Wilkesboro and ride all the marked trails there.

40% chance of scattered showers plus a bermuda high to suck in lots of moisture. Stack if you can ride Monday we have a huge ride planned.40+miles, should be good times.

I made the trip to Dark Mountain rode that, then took the connector to the bottom of the dam and the roads over to OVT (a link or signage between the two trails would be nice) did an out-and-back including Shiners. What a blast - 25 miles of flowing smooth singletrack. Probably the only trail I've ever been on that I've actually thought a 26" hardtail _might_ be acceptable. Huge kudos to the Brushy Mountain Cyclists for some impressive trail work. Also nice meeting the folks up from ReCycles in Greensboro, Dennis and his kids, and another Titus Racer-X connoisseur from Cycletherapy.

I rode OVT and Shiners as well today. Both trails were in perfect shape.
