My riding shoes smell like sewer from all the mucky mud/swamp water I got in them from racing this weekend. I rinsed them out pretty good, but if I just let them sit they will get moldy and stink like mildew!

I have been thinking of getting a boot/shoe dryer (I would probably use the thing all the time)

any suggestions?

I found this one at a local place, but they also had a few others. any experience?

I saw just recently but can't remember where these shoe dryers that had cedar shavings in them. I'll see if I can find it.

Get ski boot dryers from your local ski shop, they work great on wet riding shoes.

I always stuff my wet shoes with newspaper. Typically if they aren't soaking they dry fairly quickly. If they are it usually only takes one change of newspaper.

I have a sray bottle next to where I store my gear - one squirt of alcohol help kill the bacteria the makes your shoes smell Funky

Simpler than buying Yet Another Marginal Appliance...

Or, if you have diapers laying around then you can cut that into strips and stick them into you're shoes/boots and it will get them dry even faster than newspaper.
