Went to Bootleg over the weekend. Friggin scary on the Stumpy 29er. I was out with some really fast DH friends. I couldn't keep up with them at all on my ride. Still had a bit of fun though. It would've been way better if I actually had some kind of dual ply tire with some DH compound. My single ply XC tires friggin sucked out there. They had to be pumped up hard as eff and they didn't grip in the loose dirt at all. They wouldn't wrap around the rocks either. Just pinged off everything. Still had a good time just being out though.
