What are some of the sayings your boss repeats time and time again that drives you bonkers?

My boss says "Moving Forward" with everything...

"Tangential" - Funny part is, she never uses it correctly....

"Again, it goes back to...." - This phrase annoys the living hell out of me....cause what comes after it NEVER refers to anything that ever happened...

"Paradigm shift" - For the most part this phrase is used correctly, but it's lost all it's meaning cause she uses it so much.

I like playing buzzword bingo in my meetings...I just make up a little matrix and pass it out to my buddies...then the "winner" buys the first round on Friday's. Good times....

run it to ground, this isn't my first rodeo, at the end of the day, using the term "bandwidth" to refer to your ability to take on additional tasks, etc.

It wasn't a boss but a program manager from a customer, who just loved catch phrases. We used to pick up new ones when we knew he was coming to visit then call the engineers back at his company a week or two later to see if they caught on. We had about a 90% success rate. Good times, wish I could remember all of them now.

(It's a database, not The Computer.)

"I can't talk about that right now. One thing at a time. You know I have A.D.D."

"Ya'll need to get up offa your two dollars and contribute for birthday cake. I don't care if you eat cake or not!"
