I am trying to run a set of carbon MTB cranks on a frame with a BMX "mid BB" shell. The shell is 73mm wide with a 41mm ID opening.
My cranks have a 24mm spindle.
I can run a mid bb since that is what the frame is designed for, but I'm not sure if one exist for 24mm spindles.
So, I am curious if I can run a press fit MTB bottom bracket like the chris king PF24. The pf24 has a od of 41mm and accepts a 24mm spindle.
It seems the King PF24 bottom bracket will work just fine, but my ignorance has me worried. Am I missing some other factor, or should it work?
