Anybody know the bottom bracket size I need to get to go from triple ring to single ring? Here are the vitals:

Currently Running
03 Bullit
Rohloff speedhub
Stock Deore XT triple ring (The derailleur is off and I only use the outer ring)

I am planning on buying:
Truvativ Holzfeller DH crankset (170mm x 40T)
MSR System 1 Chainguide

The big question is: what size bottom bracket do I need to keep the chain alignment?

Ummm, what BB are you running now? The shell width should be the same, you'll just have to take the spacer out and replace it with the chainguide mount. Then the next thing will be the spindle length- run the minimum length that your frame will take- santa cruz should have the answer to that (or another bullit-riding monkey...). As long as your cranks don't hit the swingarm your spindle isn't too short IMO. Rock on.

I guess the question should have been: What spindle length should I get to keep the chain alignment perfectly straight.

you should be able to run a 113. thats what i did, when i had a speedhub.
