Theres gotta be a spot to hook up around Horsetooth Reservoir. That's about as close as I could get and feel relaxed. lol

There's a dumpy RV park down around 285 and Federal - although I don't have any idea if they take "transients."
Maybe check Chief Hosa? Though I know nothing about it...
There's also bandit-camping out by Buffalo Creek - a bit outside the "West Denver" area, though.
Also - check Bear Creek Lake Park (City of Lakewood) and maybe Chatfield State Park? Both have campgrounds with hookups (I think).

I ride past Chief Hosa a lot, you'd definitely want to get a spot as far away from I-70 as possible. Severe lack of fishin' from camp there too.

There used to be a gnarly one on Colfax, just on the outskirts of Aurora.
There was also a SUPER gnarly one on Colfax across from the hospital, but I believe that got bulldozed while I was there.

clear creek and Dakota ridge were the ones I called to find availability but I am willing to bet the are booked out, still searching for something along the foothills.

I would totally boondock as I have all year, but I need an address for the time I am in town in order to get some amazon items and other mail forwarded, RV parks offer that inconvenience

Rad. I’m sure @Nick and @6thElement can give recommendations on beers, foods, and whatever. But I’d say make sure you have a beer at Cannonball Creek and a sando from d’Deli and that’d be a good start.

that spot in golden is about as "city" as I get anymore so having the luxuries of the big time city life will be easy going for a bit. even having hookups will be nice while I renovate my kitchen in the RV.
Should be good fishing all west of the campground, just need to head far enough upstream to avoid the tubers.
