I just read on their site that their max tire clearance is 2.4!?!?! Geezzz that's even worse than the new Marzocchi's!

Is anyone out there running a 2.5 or greater on these with any luck? Also, how is the feel of the Boxxer Race? I'm thinking of getting one.

I have seen people running 2.8 Michelinas with not problem ( and thats a FAT tire). I think you could fit all but 3.0's with little problem, just make sure yuo have adequate clearence between the top of the tire and the undeside of the lower crown on full compression.
Take the total travel, add 5mm, them measure that distance from the top of the tire

I was really worried if they would even consider making a triple-crown fork that can only accept up to a 2.4! It's good to know that it's just some random spec that they threw out there.

Kinda bad to say that but in all reality be able to fit larger tires...

Rockshox has been saying to run nothing larger than a 2.4 for the last 3 years now. I asked them about it at interbike, and the guy I talked to said it was a mistake, right after that, he was quickly corrected when Hercules, their hed tech said it was true. However this is a load of bull, the Giant DH's come with a 2.8 in the front. Don't worry about the tire clearance, as long as you aren't running a 3.0 gazzalodi or something, you'll be just fine
