Is it possible to service the air side without taking the lowers off? I just changed the damper oil and Im running an Avy damper so I dont feel like replacing all the fluid but I need to relube my air side because its not returning to the full extension when Im off the bike. Ive got to pull the bike back up to get the fork to full extension so Im thinking the issues in the air side.

You can push the assembly up through the tube.

But save yourself a lot of time and anger, put a pan under the fork and save/reuse the oil in the comp. side so you can really clean and inspect the air side properly.

Pull the stanchions out from the crowns. This way you can service each side separately.
