Hi I have a boxxer with tall top crown, and it was on a large frame, and know I want to install it on a small frame can I put some spacers between the top crown and the top bearing of the headset? , o I must have to cut the steering tube to fit it on the frame? thanks!!

yeah you can put a spacer there. i have like 3 inbetween the crown and headset on my bike.

some people also put spacers above the stem so they dont have to cut the steerer tube.

All new steerers are 265mm long and are cut to fit. You can run as many spacers as you want under the upper crown, the only limitation is the maximum amount of exposed tube above the upper crown (155-160mm depending on year of fork). The Boxxer owner's manual has more information for fitting and your shop can assist you to fitting the fork to your frame
