Hello

I have a set of 2006 boxxer race forks , i was wondering how much oil i put in the damping side?
I know you put 150mm of 5wt in the motion control.
Also is there an alternative for the lower lube other than the tf tuned stuff?
Also should i put a load of grease on the spring inside the left leg?
I was told you could use 5/40 or 10/40 engine oil for the lower lube?

cheers

The 150ml of oil IS in the damping side.

In the outer leg on the right side (damping side, riders right): 15ml of 15wt oil.

On the other side (spring side, riders left) you will need 30ml of 15wt oil.

TF Tuned use a mix of regular fork oil and RS Redrum if I remember correctly. Rock Shox recommend regular 15wt fork oil.

Grease the spring lightly with fork grease (judy butter, slick honey, etc.) and make sure the rubber boot is centered, if there are multiple rubber boots on the spring, distribute them evenly along the length of the spring.
