Wooo Tulips!!!!
I saw this in my local newspaper try to figure this out

you have 3 buckets a 10 gallon, 7 gallon and a 3 gallon.

the 10 gallon bucket is full.

by pouring the water into the other buckets try to make 2 buckets filled with 5 gallon each

(it helps to write the sequence down on paper)

pour 3 gallons into the 3 bucket
3 gallons into the 7 bucket
3 gallons into the 3 bucket
3 gallons into the 7 bucket
now there 6 gallons in the 7 bucket and 4 gallons in the 10 bucket
pour 3 gallons into the 3 bucket
leaving 1 gallon in the 10 bucket
now fill the 7 bucket to the top leaving 2 gallons in the 3 bucket
now pour the 7 gallons into the 10 bucket making 8 gallons now in the 10 bucket
empty the 2 gallons left in the 3 bucket into the 7 bucket
fill the 3 bucket from whats in the 10 bucket
leaving 5 gallons in the 10 bucket
pour the 3 gallons in the 3 bucket into the 7 bucket
now there is 5 gallons in the 7 bucket.

giving 5 gallons in each

i think thats it.
correct me if i'm wrong.

sorry if that looks messy but i didnt bother writing it down, i was just typing it out as it was going through my head.

Why not just pour 5 gallons from the 10 gallon bucket into the 7 gallon bucket? Then there would be 5 in the 10 and 5 in the 7 right?

how you gonna measure it properly though.
i assume there are gonna be no markings on the buckets or measuring devices involved.
it would be a complete geuss.

10gallon bucket is 1
7gallon bucket is 2
3gallon bucket is 3
take bucket 3 and pour it in bucket 2 making it 10 gallons. Take that bucket and put half of it in the empty bucket making two 5 gallons buckets and one 10 gallon.

Yeah this riddle is pretty tough, but a similar riddle that's even tougher is to try doing it with two jugs in the middle of a park, with an angry man named Zeus.

It's way tougher, especially when you know that if you don't do it within five minutes a briefcase near you blows up, thus killing you and your angry sidekick.

Then the mysterious man known only as Simon wins.

That's pressure man....you gotta have nerves of steel, and the ability to die hard...with a vengeance!
