Got a new hayes hose today, but it is a c1 generation, and i have a c2 brake, will it work? (please be yes, please be yes.)

uh....do they have different connectors? if not, they should.

They do not; the C1 has a compression fitting like the lever-end of the hose and the C2 has a screw on fitting. I do not think there is a way to fit the screw on fitting onto an old hose. I am pretty sure that the fitting is permanent. Don't know, though. Never tried to do it.

I know the hoses are a little different but the thread size is the same so they should be interchangable.

buy some goodridge lines for the thing man. better power and you know it will fit cause you buy them specificly for your system. granted there expensive but so worth it.
