Though the disc rubbing could be some indication of the need for a bleed (I am only supposing this, I don't know if it's true), likely the problem is elsewhere. There are 2 reasons the pads might be rubbing: the lever was squeezed when the rotor was not in the wheel, causing the system to adjust further inwards or the the rotor is bent. Well, it's pretty easy to tell if the rotor is bent. Likely, it is the other option. Take the wheel and pads out and use a wrench (the hayes website or manual will give you the wrench size and general directions) to push the cylinders back into the bores.

You don't even need to take the wheel off. Slide a credit card between the rotor and pad. Pump the lever. It will reset the pistons. Then, flip the lever up into the bleed position. Slowly back out the screw. A drop or 2 of fluid should come out. If none does and you have not had a problem with the brakes feeling spongey, don't worry about it. Tighten the screw and return the lever to the normal position. Remove the card. Align the caliper if needed, then pump the lever. The piistons will self-adjust.
Many people say to use business cards for this, but I don't like them b/c they compress and are harder to slide in. If any fluid comes out, clean it up with some rubbing alcohol.
