ok, so which weekend is it?? Is Norba is screwing us over again??? From what Velonews reported, the BrianHead Norba was to be held on July 29-31. wich is cool, since nothing is happening that weekend (in the MTB world).

BUT NOW.....if you look at norbanationals.com, or the calendar on USAcycling.org, they have the dates as Aug 6-7 (the following weekend).

The problem here is that the CRANKWORKS festival in Whistler (Whistler MTB Festival) is held that week.

Damnit!!! it'd be cool to see BrianHead holding a national, but I'm sure as hell am not going to pass up on Whister again, so see a race that NO ONE is going to be at (...since everyone will be in Whistler).


So...... anyone know if the idiots at NORBA just wrote down the wrong date?? or is this infact the true dates.

Actually that date is going to work much better for many people as Norba back to back 3 weeks in a row is way more than most people can justify!!

I was gonna go skiing at Brian Head today but they keep closing the damn lifts for wind. Oh well I can't wait for summer so I can hit up TimberLine and Dark hollow and HEnderson Lake. Fun Stuff. What trail will they be using for the race? A new one?

Everyone knows there is still ZERO prize money for the pro's right? Just wanted to make sure people know this-and yes, no money for the pros does trickle down to the rest of the others.

And Go-Ride.com just fired the first shot in the regrowth of DH. Not much but a good start. I know I'm a little sick of the trained seal act going on now. Arr Arr Arr, but a seal still gets a treat after he does his trick. I will still race because I love it, but will still fight to make it better.
