This is my first race ever... what do you do to plan for a race of epic proportions?
Ride a lot - and then ride some more.
Seriously.
Brianhead is really hard from about mile 45-50, and then again from 92-100. Those are the toughest sections and I wanted to cry.

Thanks again for the replies I guess I will see you guys up there.... riding a blue superlight that is mega heavy.
I was up in Brianhead over the weekend....be sure you bring your lungs. Brianhead peak is up at 11000 ft.
All I know is that the few small climbs I had to do.........HURT!!!!!
However, was definately worth it. Such a stark contrast to Gooseberry Mesa.
