You can expect it not to be XTR, bit still be a Shimano product.

LX works fine, its not going to be as snappy as an Xtr, just set it up properly, and it will work fine. Never as good as My x7!!!!! Just kidding, had to drop the sram/Shi*mano arguement



P.S. Dont ever get less than LX. Less and they really start losing performance fast
