welcome to the forum. Slick intro.
EDIT: (just realized you've been here longer than I.... I'll rephrase that to say, nice second post, wayta' keep your efforts here meaningful, haha!)

That's probably the cleanest BMW hardtail frame I've ever seen. Bangin' ride.

your colony transformer lever is missing the cable grommet thing. Might rattle.

ha was blocked for ages, (my own fault) so just been snoopin around.
the lever doesn't have a barrel adjuster, outer fits straight in.

thanks for the kind words.
will prob drop the fork to 65 or try a gold label and change a few parts when they wear out or brake.
happy so far, new front wheel should be ready in a couple of weeks

transformer definitely has a grommet insert (not barrel adj.), I've got one on my Molly. Keeps the cable from popping out of the slot if it ever snaps back with the lever.

What is the fork at in the pics? I've got a DJ2 at 55mm and I like it, although I get a bit of coil spring clack on hard hits... got a marmoset up to a runaway too, great stuff, nice taste my man.
You should mos def shave those brake tabs too!

i'll check in the little bag of spares that came with the brake, if you've got a grommet i want one to! lol

the fork is a z1 sport np lowered to 80mm best fork i've ridden so far. tried a lowered 4x on my molly, but changed back.

shaving the brake tabs: like the way it looks but to scared to do it!
any tips, guessing you cut as much off as you can, then file/sandpaper until
smooth

yeah, check for the little grommet insert... Just nice to have in there.

as far as shaving your tabs... I used an angle grinder and finished with a dremel and an assortment of bits (hand work could work fine, but very very time consuming and cumbersome). I've now done it to probably a half-dozen forks... I'm hooked, very easy if you watch what you're doing, and absolutely no problems so far. I actually started a thread all about it quite awhile ago, when I was first experimenting with it... try searching it out, either on here or mtbr/etc....

oh yeah, where did you score the loot on the KHE macs?

Any shop with a QBP account can get KHE's now.

They ain't for the weak of wallet.

They are the lightest / quickest "full size" tire you can get right now for these bikes.

BTW, nice ride.
