My project due jour. New bonfire pit. Most of the way there, still needs some work. Will fill with gravel then put the grate it. Used the dirt/clay I dug up to fill in a low spot along the side of the house to improve drainage.
Bad case of FTS. Called in. Crazy windy. Ham on tap for dinner. Given the weather, looks like a video games type of day.
They're destructive little bastards when they get into your garden.
Are those rocks for fire pits? Rocks with moisture in them can explode. You might want to light it up big and walk away the first time...

17 degrees here. I wish Jesus had brought some heavenly weather with him from the grave. But the trails will be frozen solid, so I can take the new bike on a proper ride on proper trails (even though they will be covered in snow).

holy crap I slept for 8.5 hours. That never happens 6.5 is my normal. Coffee, eats, ride.....seems like my plan for the day
start of the growing season here. I rototilled the vegetable garden while Mrs. Angus tended the New Mexico green chile seedlings under grow lights in the laundry room.

Took the dogs for a walk, and heard/saw a guy mowing grass that sprouted in a graveled area. Holy shit did it sound terrible.

Wife requested Easter meatballs, so I've got those going in the crock pot now. I ran 13.4 miles at a 6:56 pace this morning, and it'd be nice to go for a ride now but my legs are fucking shot. I did spend 5.5 hours this week doing some sort of pedaling, between road rides and the trainer, so it's something.
If flour is the new black market I must be Pablo Escobar. I think we have like 40lbs right now.
Snow flurries still falling, thinking about some lunch. I doubt there will be much riding this week, maybe later.
Correction: 60. And that's just what flour. I need to get some rye flour.
Just got back from a brisk but awesome 20 mile road ride. I had no snap in the legs due to pushing heavy weights last night but that had the good side effect of making me spin efficiently to keep up a good pace. Beer time

Thanks. I live about an hour outside philly in the burbs but I use that as a reference point since it's close enough and a good reference point.
