Thomson seat posts are THE standard. I wouldn't think about running a carbon seat post weather it was rated for DH or not.

Looks like a 'cheap' taiwanese post that so many companies sell, is this still made in the uk?

Any design featurest that set this apart from these cheap taiwanese posts? - i know Burgtec stuff is very high quality so if this is a UK Burgtec factory made post then it should do what it says on the tin

Either way, looks just like my halfords own post that i paid less than £35 for - i wonder how cheap this will be?
