anywho, I was at movie night with about a dozen others. We're flipping thru the DVDs and the host holds up three of 'em and asks about the first. So, being the smart @ss that I am, said, "by a round of applause, do y'all want the first one."

People are such cattle, they -- a dozen people in a large living room -- actually started applauding for the movie of their choice.
