cable end cap questions...

I picked up a set of Avid flak-jackets and am not crazy about the plastic 'sleeving' that's supposed to cover the exposed cable. So back to the doughnuts. However, the cable-ends with that are supposed to connect the sleeves aren't sealed so I'd like to replace them. I've always used sealed nylon ends with 4mm housing. The kit came with 5mm housing and aluminum ends. I kind of dig the aluminum (especially where it enters the rear mech as the plastic one would bend). Who makes a decent, sealed, 5mm cable end in aluminum. Preferably black?

Jagwire has some listed on their site but it doesn't say that they're sealed. Only that they're lined. Whatever that means.

The 3 sealed ones that came in the Avid kit (1 for each of the shifters and 1 for the rear mech) are perfect, but I don't think I can pick those up anywhere.

TIA

use the liner bro. That's what makes the system more weather resistant. The "sealed" Shimano ferules only come in the 4mm variety AFAIK and seem to work pretty well. But another thing to do is put a dollop of grease in the ferrule and if you can inject a bit into the housing at each end. I use Jonnysnot, a silicone grease and it will provide a barrier to dust gunk and grime and water and sweat too at least for a while.
