I pretty much read blah blah blah blah blah doughter blah blah blah. Wait a minute "doughter" what the hell is that? Female version of this:

Edit: Maybe "doughter" is just a daughter with a yeast infection.

Luck o' the Irish eh?

We'll call you lucky when you get out of the country safely after sticking the salami in the butcher's daughter's meathole :)

Peebles is a small country town in the Scottish Borders situated 23 miles south of Edinburgh and about 40 miles from Glasgow. This quiet south eastern corner of Scotland, with its lower than average rainfall, clean air and bright sunshine encourages visitors through every season.
by 'bright sunshine' i think they mean that you only need yr NiteRider for 9 months of the year.

and bring rain gear.

on the plus side, edinburgh is a cool city, and there's good riding to be had in scotland. it might take you a bit of time to adjust to the scottish accent, esp strong cases.

oh, and there's good music coming from scotland too. the delgados sadly packed it in, but arab strap and mogwai are still going strong.

my experience w/ scotland is limited, but i'd wager there are some drastic regional differences in accents, some easier to understand than others.

I can see it now:

Willy: And that's how Willy waters. Now, you take the hoose.
caputo1989: The moose?
Willy: The HOOSE! The HOOSE! [Willy gives the hose to caputo]
caputo1989: Is this right? [sprays him]
Willy: Aaugh! Turn off the noozle!
caputo1989: The noodles? What noodles?
Willy: The noozle at the end of the hoose!

cue poem written in robbie burns' style:

TAE A FART

Oh whit a sleekit horrible beastie

Lurks in yer belly efter the feastie

Jist as ye sit doon among yer kin

There sterts tae stir an enormous win'

The neeps 'n' tatties 'n' mushy peas

Stert workin' like a gentle breeze

But soon the puddin' wi' the sauncie face

Will hae ye blawin' a' ower the place

Nae maiter whit the hell ye dae

A'bodys gonnae hiv tae pay

Even if ye try tae stifle

It's like a bullet oot a rifle

Hawd yer bum ticht tae the chair

Tae try an' stop the leakin' air

Shify yersel fae cheek tae cheek

Prae tae God it disnae reek

But aw yer efforts go assunder

Oot it comes like a clap o' thunder

Ricochets aroon the room

Michty me a sonic boom

God almichty it fairly reeks

Hope a huvnae s**t ma breeks

Tae the bog a better scurry

Aw whit the hell, it's no ma worry

A'body roon aboot me chokin

Wan or twa are nearly bokin

A'll feel better for a while

Cannae help but raise a smile

Wis him! A shout wi' accusin glower

Alas too late, he's jist keeled ower

Ye dirty bugger they shout and stare

A dinnae feel welcome ony mair

Where e'er ye be let yer wind gang free

Sounds like jist the job fur me

Whit a fuss at Rabbie's party

Ower the sake o' wan wee farty

:stupid: Some areas you'll get by just fine, and other areas (especially Gaelic speaking ones) you won't have a clue. Just sit there and nod. On the flipside, they thought we were Canadians. I guess that's what happens when you grow up 20 minutes from the border.

Oh yeah, have a blast in Scotland, I hope to be living there in a couple years as well.

I'll be damned. We stayed in Peebles when we were visiting Edinburgh. :thumb:
