It's killing me that I can't think of the name of the song and band in the Shimano Saint History & Technology video HERE... it's played in the fist couple of minutes of the video, there are two tunes actually, and I'm talking about the slow tempo one.. It got a lot of airplay a while back I recall. Kinda sounds Alice Cooperish...

Anyone name that tune? :nopity:

That slow intro guitar song is
(.....as I hang my head in shame)

Cinderella.

That's why it rang so familiar... I was a metal head (Kinda still am) back in HS.. this one came out in the 80's didn't it? I was class of '87 and I recall hearing it in HS.

they were kind of a Bubblegum metal, or Hair Metal band..

Thanks.. my :banghead: friend.

Well I was 17, and my favorites at that time were Van Halen, the Scops, and AC/DC... but these guys were cool back then... they just didn't have the lasting power of the dinosaur bands though! But another Hair Metal band from back then that still rocks today was Ratt.

You bought that crap?
Ha, I don't remember if I bought it, but I definitely had the tape.
That tape and a walkman is how I got all the Hairspray Hoes to
hop down off the monkey bars and hang out with me in the long row of tractor tires shielded from the teacher's view.:eviltongu

Van Halen...

Ed was the second reason I picked up a guitar, with my Dad being the first. :)

...ahhh the days of Variacs and Plexis... I miss them.

A buddy of mine's band just opened up for Stephen Pearcy last weekend. If Ratt is still around they don't have Pearcy anymore

It's always amazing to me how some of these bands that you think are long gone or dead, will suddenly show up on tour..
