So I might be moving to Vashon Island, in washington. If you live in the area you probably know a lil about it. I lived there for a couple years when i was like 6, but I didn't ride back then. I remember going exploring and stuff and I found some cool NS stuff, and some dj's, but this was back in like '96 and i didn't think much of it at the time. Also, is there anyone who rides on the island? I remember a bunch of bmxers back in the day... Anyhoo, I'm just wondering what the riding over there is like now. Can anyone help me out? Thanks.

There are still trails on the DNR land southwest of town as well as XC stuff above Dockton. Unfortunately, the real sweet DH/FR stuff was mowed down last July.
So with the exception of a private DJ spot or two and a new short trail you will need to head off Island for an adrenaline fix.
