The nailer I rented (battery powered Makita) wouldn't drive the nails flush. I tried fucking with it, both batteries were charged. WTF. I have to glue most of it since you can't nail into aluminum.

The steering box and pitman arm were the only OG parts left and they have now been swapped out. I might even have the wheel centered (it was about 10 minutes of eft of center before).

My rear bump stops are riveted in, so I have to grind those off to do the rear bags. HUGE pain in my ass. "2 hour install" not with rivets.

Bagged the back and put the fills in a convenient spot. Easy reach from either the truck battery or the house battery. I really like this Smitybuilt compressor, too.

The steering box is an epic fail. I think I found an OE replacement and ordered a new steering shaft. Too much angle on the u joint makes for awful steering.

Crunches the numbers of 80 hotel rooms minus camper minus truck to tow camper, confirms his suspicion
This was the quick math I also did, and arrived at the same conclusion. :D
80 trips though, not nights, so rough maths of 80*5*150=$60k

I blame @Toshi for not coming in here to crunch the numbers, he must be actually doing some work :p

But I don't have 2 TV's.
What kind of pauper are you? How can you watch Fox news and Newsmax at the same time while camping at the KOA?

Got the water heater mounted and as soon as I hooked it up, my water pump stopped working. So need to troubleshoot that and maybe get this bitch tested this weekend.

<edit> The power wire slipped off the switch, so I squeezed the connector to make it snug. Totally works. It does take a couple seconds for the hot water but it's pretty damn instant.

Hybrid does seem like the way to go with a camper van and limited range:

Not only does the Multivan concept camper promise 31 miles (50 km) of all-electric driving for cleaner, emission-less campground and city navigation.
