Do you ever run into SKooks in your travels?
My friend Jamie bought the Scamp I was interested in but backed out of. For $500 she had the frame fixed and had the roof patched and a new set of steps installed. Her Brother built her a A frame to park it under in his backyard. Its pretty nice. Weird smell has been remediated. I regret not buying it.
Have not. Reached out to see if he wanted to ride when I first landed in dampville but he said he was on hiatus from bikeys.

You can get a really nice one for around $25k canukmoney. $35k with a new Subie engine.
10+ years ago you could get one for nearly free that needed work. Now I see them that need a total overhaul and folks want $20k+
But I see folks on Facebook dropping $100k+ on Sprinters, so I guess if you got money to burn, light it up.

I gave my 67 Westy, a solid driver, to an at-risk kid my mechanic knew, before moving overseas.
Seemed easier than meeting up with patchouli soaked hippies wanting to trade for some dead tapes.
