Ok, campground hooligans, what the absolute quietist gas generator powerful enough to run an air conditioner?
its a small ac, but still.
And no, it won’t be running if anyone is close enough to hear it, at least at night.
is there anything that operates under 50 db’s with that kind of power?
honda EU2200, you can buy two and link them if need be, only way to go

Also if you can get a microair soft starter for the ac. Keeps there from being one big draw on start up. I have one on my 13.5 btu ac and a Honda 2200 runs it.

it all depends on the the ac My coleman 9200 BTU will run on a honda 2000 a 13000 btu will not.
with the 9200 my honda is running hard and is loud a Honda 3000 will be at half load and be much quieter but is twice the generator weight. all trade offs (of course you can run two 2000s hooked together and they will be down near idle)

Years ago in NYC, bikesnobnyc used to blog about the Pistadex, how much hipsters were trying to charge to sell their "custom" Bianchi Pista fixie versus the actual cost of a new one.

Given just how many Sprinters there were at Fruita this past weekend, I think there needs to be a similar tracker to try and work out when we've hit peak Sprinter.

saw this thing last week. Now I’ve seen a few more types on the highway over the last two days.

I’m currently camping at shitty places. This place had trash everywhere, it was windy and smelled. Which shouldn’t be a surprise at a place called los banos. The crackling of the electric wires was quiet calming.

I dont really like this sort of camping. Not socially distanced enough. But it was just a day stop so it was nice to have a shower and dump the tanks. Drove around Ashland and walked around lithia park.

This is what I envisioned most RV parks to be, if not even tighter in yet.

Gotta take the toys with you.

He have some angled extension for the fifth wheel out back of the tractor? That's odd.
