I'm looking for a place to camp at snowshoe for a few days, and I'd like to know of anyone is familiar with any places to do so which are close to the mountain.

If you do a search on 'Snowshoe camping' you should be able to find out everything you need to know.

Anyone know which one is best/closest?

Edits: it looks like Silvercreek may have a place to camp out, but for 25 per night or something

by BANCHE - Camping is in the silvercreek parking lot! when you first enter the lot, the camp sites are on your left. you can camp anywhere there. you'll see the electrical, and water hook ups for RVs there. as far as the pool and shower, you need to go into silvercreeks lobby, and just try to get into the pool area.thats were the pool and hot tubs are. if you can't just walk in , then ask at the front desk. sam will be there, so find him he knows about everything,he's camped there with me the last three years!!

Could I get a bit more info: are showers and such included in the $25 to camp?

Ditto on Whittaker. Beatiful place and only about 10-15 minutes from the top of snowshoe. How many peeople are going? If you have 3 or more you can get a motel room or a condo for around $40 per person for the weekend. If you have a season pass Spuce is only $55 a night.
