Campy Chorus vs. Centaur

So a new road bike appears to be occurring sooner than later for me. I'd planned to just go with a new DA group but got to try it and don't really dig the levers too much.

So I'm contemplating Campy. Super Record / Record isn't going to happen. 11sp Chorus is a definite possibility as is 10sp Chorus. However, Centaur doesn't seem to be too much heavier than Chorus... (at least in the 10sp version). Comes with seemingly everything carbon that chorus has.

The other option is that I might just strip my perfectly functional 7800 stuff off my current bike and go with new handlebar, stem and seatpost.

Centaur 10sp shifters lack the ability to dump more than one gear at a time. Minor, but noticeable, in my opinion. In the 10sp range, Chorus gains a bearing in the shifter, also, where Centaur uses a bushing (11sp Chorus uses a bushing).

In my opinion, a Centaur group with Chorus shifters is the best deal (10sp).

Chorus 11sp was created for the cost-conscious buyer looking to go 11sp.

A lot of riders on the Pro Tour have (had I guess now) Record shifters with the Centaur guts, mostly to due with the weight, but they don't seem to mind.
I don't like the old 10spd hoods personally, but that's just me. I really like the new 11spd stuff though, really, really nice...
