Any chance anyone has tried putting a 2010 Boxxer coil spring assembly in a 2007 888 ata? or tried the above air spring mod?

why not put a Marz coil assembly in place of the air cartridge? they were offering this for all the bunk 888 ATA's

I may have to give Marz a call and go that route. The air spring has been a POS even after the par removal. Will they send you the parts or do they make you send the whole fork in?

youll have to send the fork back in to them. going the coil conversion route does make it a lot heavier though. they might also give you the option on a 2010 model. thats what i did last year.

Thanks for the heads up on the conversion/upgrade info. Still on the fence about what i'm going to do. I've been on a marz. fork in some form for going on 17years now. This 888 ata has been the only one that didn't quite measure up. I hear good things about the EVO's so it might be time to upgrade...
