I would like to ride Blue Mtn this year.Tame Ape said:All the time son! Its the best that Westchester has to offer and there is a Metro-North stop in Peekskill two miles away! Its really easy to get to from NYC.
I've only been there twice so far this season though. I turned my bikey into a SS and found that I couldn't hack it without a whole season of riding behind me!
Been concentrating on building some road miles since then... The eventual goal is to bust out an unsupported century to Bear Mtn and back to the East Village on my roadie/cx.
Yah, they do that every year, I taco'd my right ankle at the fest last year . Blue is probably the only park in Westchester thats big enough and quality enough to do it in. They also have an annual race called the Chain Breaker later in the summer.stosh said:I would like to ride Blue Mtn this year.
Did you see the post for the Fat Tire Fest there?
I was down in Peekskill last weekend and it's not TO far for me.
Sweet!!!!Tame Ape said:

I could meet you there some weekend no problem!
there is a NYS police shooting range at the far end of Stewart. I never ride in that area though anyway so it doesn't really matter.Tame Ape said:Yah, that map is choice. I wish more parks had a map like that (yet at the same am glad they don't.)
Just watchout for the shooting range, leave the antlers at home.
This is officially in my Outlook calender now.stosh said:No, not this coming Saturday, the following, the date is the 29th of April.
