I just put this thing on eBay and like a moron I tore all the stickers off of it and can’t figure out which model it is…

But here is what I know about it

coil
2008 Build
Matte Black
Lockout
U Turn
Rebound Knob on the bottom

I’m at work so I don’t know the steerer material, annoying annoying…thanks if anyone can help.

Good to know, I always thought it was the spring that determined the difference, not the steerer. Makes sense though.

lot's of good info in here guys thanks...so the steerer will tell the tail when i get home.

I just wanted to make sure my eBay auction is accurate...

Oh and i didnt buy it retail, actually off another monkey a while back for my jump bike, i hate tons of decals and had no plans on selling it so tore everything off...

obviously on the underside of the crown right? I know the brake arch has a waffle design in it, not postive about the crown though.
Yes, the underside of the crown, or you could also say the back of the crown! Other than that, alloy steerer, and the fact that almost all the 454 I have ever seen were black (426 are more commonly gray)

The 426 also comes in matte black. Like dropmachine.com said, it's the steerer that's the difference.
My 426 in black.

The crowns and lowers are the same, I've owned both.

Like has been said a few times now, the only difference is the steerer material (454 = alloy = lighter).

Repeated for SnG:

426 - Steel Steerer, Solid Crown (2010 have hollow crown)
454 - Alu Steerer, Hollow Crown

there is no waffle pattern/open structure. Both are offered in Dual Air/Air U-Turn/Coil U-Turn

Good luck finding them all retail!
