just ran across, and clawed, my girlfriend's face. Mandi was sitting on the couch, reading some international tax stuff, when Layla used her face as a wall ride. g/f was dripping blood from her eyebrow, and is also cut just above her lip.

Tends to be a standard occasional hazard living with cats. We took our three to the vet for their annual last night and everyone wound up with puncture and/or slash wounds.

My cat has attacked my dogs, my neighbors dogs and cats, my neighbors, my brother and a handfull of visiting friends. It has never put a claw or tooth on me, it knows not to bite the hand that feeds. i was going to, but Mandi chased Layla into the bedroom and slammed the door. i figured there was a kitty murder going on, so i didn't want to go in.

Mandi's cats don't discriminate. Layla gets aggressive when playing...i have a few scars to show for it.

I got a knock on the door the other day from some people holding a cat. It seems their dogs got ahold of a kitty and messed it up pretty bad and they thought it was mine. I was a little bit panicked trying to get the lights on to see if was mine when my cat jumped up on the porch to check things out. Looks like it was a stray, the pups had chewed on its feet pretty good and probably gave it a few broken ribs.

anybody else's cat have kitty bulimia? this kitty:

will eat so fast, and so much, that she'll puke it up a minute later. the food isn't even chewed up. it's whole pieces. the food stays out all the time, so it's not like she's excited to eat or anything. but it's kind of gross. i'd say she pukes up her food 2 times a week.

Is your fluffy cat still puking? Have you tried a cat food with hairball control?

I also have a cat with bad body image. Switching the food sometimes helps. Also brushing the cat to remove excess hair. I think the two are related (consumption of food and hair in the "bathing" process). My cat seems to puke less when she's well brushed. In extreme cases, we duct tape the cat. It's a rather efficient way to remove excess hair.

And in answer to your most recent random topic, yes. But I say it's easier to talk to guys. As a woman, I can say that you never know what women are really thinking. You always know that with guys, it's: a) exactly what they're saying, b) sex, c) large machinery/ artillery, or d) snow (like the tv when there's no channel there - just snow).

she puked a few days ago. solid (literally and figuratively) food. when i picked it up (ew), i could still feel that it was crunchy. i think she might be on hairball control already. i'll check into that.

both cats get combed about once a week, if not more. Lexi, the puking kitty, sheds so much more, though. it seems impossible to get all the hair.

maybe that's why i find it easier talking to girls. i don't know what they're really thinking, so i don't have to worry about sounding stupid. they'll just always smile and laugh, anyway.

doing research on age of consent (and all fun things related) and found this: (SM = sexual maturity)

Results. Early SM was positively associated with overweight and obesity in girls, but the associations were reverse for boys. The prevalence of overweight in early maturers versus the others was 22.6% versus 31.6% in boys and 34.4% versus 23.2% in girls; the figures for obesity were 6.7% versus 14.8% and 15.6% versus 8.1%, respectively. Odd ratios and 95% confidence intervals for obesity were 0.4 (0.2, 0.8) for boys and 2.0 (1.1, 3.5) for girls, and covariates were adjusted. Most significant differences in overweight and obesity among ethnic groups disappeared after controlling for SM. Fatness (BMI and skinfold thickness) was associated with SM stages and with early maturation in boys and girls, but the associations were in opposite directions. Compared with their counterparts, early maturing boys were thinner, whereas early maturing girls were fatter.

just in general? if so, im the exact opposite. hell i have an easier time carrying on long conversations with people twice my age than i do saying one sentence to a girl. lets just say that my ability to talk to girls is like mack's ability to spell.
